It was our first time to visit these small restaurant along McAurthur Highway in Angeles City ( a few step from Casino Filipino Angeles). They specialized in chinese cuisine (halata naman sa name! haha!). I'm from Pampanga and when i was in high school, dinadaan toh nung jeep na sinakyan ko everyday papuntang school pero never ko pa na-try na kumain dito.
From SM Clark we rode a jeepney going to Angeles city. On our way there, my bf and i had an agreement that we'll check out the restaurant first and if we both didn't like it, we'll just go to Chowking for their Beef Wanton Noodles. hehe! When we entered the restaurant which looks really simple from the outside, without extravagant banners and all,so we're really not expecting much. Even if the place is small, it's tidy, without funky oders from cigarettes or kitchen smell. It was air conditioned by the way and the service crews have uniforms. We were impressed so we decided to try their dishes.
After choosing a table, the waiter immediately approached us with their menu. They have noodles, dimsum, rice toppings and pancit. I asked for one of their bestsellers and the waiter politely suggested for us to try their Beer Brisket and Wanton noodles, priced 140-145 pesos depending on the noodles, because you have to choose want noodle style you want, either Hongkong (thin) or Shanghai (thick), that's a difference of 5 pesos. I decided to try the shanghai noodles and my bf the hongkong style.
After 10-15 mins. of waiting, our orders came, they have large servings of the noodles. They serve it hot in a large bowl that looks very appetizing, with several slices of beef and wanton, with half-cooked mustard leaves (pechay)! Yum! (wish i took pictures!) Anyway, it tastes really good! i even think its better than Chowking's! haha! Ang dami nilang magserve ng beef, i think i have 7-8 slices ng beef sa noodles ko. Super sulit yung 145 ko and it really taste good and fulfilling. I'll definite go back again to try their other dishes naman. :D
