Cleaning Your Silver
The jeweler told us that it's better to use monosodium glutamate (MSG)/vetsin (aka. Ajinomoto) to clean it. Yes, the one you use for seasoning food. Just put a little on your palm, about half a teaspoon and a little bit of water. Then put your silver between your palms, and in circular motion just rub the msg on your silver. After 1-2 mins... viola!!! your silver is as clean and shiny as new!

He also taught us about different types of silver, pure silver and sterling silver (925). Most common silver here in the Philippines is the Sterling Silver (925) which is widely available. This type of silver is considerably more affordable but is prone to tarnishing and somewhat changes its color through time. But can be easily be restored by cleaning either by going to professionals or just by cleaning it at home.
may i know what reason or component of vetsin made it as an effective silver cleaner pls. I need ur help for our project pls. reply back :)
